Worthing Mencap's Golden Anniversary

Worthing Mencap began in 1958, so this year we celebrate 50 years of fundraising and active support for local people with learning disabilities and their families.

We're holding some special golden anniversary events and would love to hear from anyone who has been involved with Worthing Mencap at any time over the past 50 years. Call us on 01903 202030 or pop into Buddys.

Recycling for funds

We are collecting used inkjet cartridges and old mobile phones and accessories. Please bring any such items to Buddys. They get recycled and raise funds for Buddys and Worthing Mencap.

Minibus

Worthing Mencap is on the road with a minibus. We have an excellent two-year-old 15-seat minibus, for use for our own activities and to support affiliated groups that need transport.

We urgently require a driver for our minibus on alternate Thursday afternoons between 2.30pm and 5.30pm. For further information, please telephone 01903 202030.

Space wanted

We urgently need storage space for items we collect throughout the year to sell at our fundraising events. If you have a water-tight shed or garage we could use, please contact Buddys on 01903 202030.
